Dell dealing with its new designs by grabbing Motorola exec

Dell tackles sales slump, grabs Motorola exec
Dell is all geared up to form its new division for its computer hardware. Known as Global Consumer, the group will be engaged in revitalizing Dell’s designs and creating new standards for the developing business world.
Fortunately, Ron Garriques, Motorola’s mobile device head will head this new section and he has already left the phone maker for Dell. The leader was perhaps best known for overseeing the company’s attempt to capitalize on the success of the RAZR, and earned a minor amount of notoriety for an unintentional presentation leak that revealed Motorola’s 2007 phones ahead of the 3GSM expo.
