Samsung’s 18-carat gold-plated mobile

18-carat gold-plated mobile

It seems Samsung Electronics; an official global partner for the Olympic Games in wireless communications equipment was waiting for the right time to unveil its much-awaited third official Olympic phone.

Taking a call on it, the company has kept its words said on 6 June (a campaign for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games was launched) by launching a special 18-carat gold-plated mobile phone.

The phone was launched on 13 July, 2007 to commemorate next year’s Beijing Olympics. This is not less than a blessing on the eve of Olympic Games as this new flavor of the P318 is in the form of P318+.

Without no details of its price, the phone comes packed with a shiny logo and other functionalities preinstalled in the phone (such as wallpapers).
