Hitachi’s A4-paper-sized color electronic paper

Hitachi, Japan’s electronics giant has come out with the new A4-paper-sized 4,096-color electronic paper display “Albirey”. It is 3.7mm thick and reports ultra low electric consumption at Hitachi’s high-tech convention in Tokyo on 25 July 2007.

The black and white electronic paper display were invented by the company during last year as information display medium of still frame for trains, offices and shops.
