Amazon can sell the OLPC with dual operating system in November

The OLPC seems that continues to coletazos. That small laptop for children in disadvantaged countries (namely, poverty, that andarnos about the bush) now you can buy anyone and with a new feature, will come with dual operating system, Windows XP and Linux.

In May Microsoft reached an agreement with the organization that is responsible for the OLPC to include Windows XP operating system like this lightweight notebook, something that many people did not see well because it was possible to develop a version based on GNU / Linux very intuitive to children.

To try to make happy the whole world the OLPC will be sold at Amazon with the two operating systems, selectable through a boot that you can set to start with one or another. Amazon distribute it in November, coinciding with Christmas shopping.

For now there is a price for this laptop, which we do know is that it will be up for sale under the rule of “buy one, another gift” that forces you to buy two laptops but one of them will go under your direct subsidy to a child in need of truth.
