The LHC is Resting Until Next April

The Large Hadron Collider, now you know that in all the seams, had to slow down to its small problems with heating.

It was now a date for its next re-start: early April 2009. You can still enjoy Christmas. Everything is not related to the problem encountered during startup, because the LHC should anyway follow a maintenance phase from 15 November to next April, and this will be the case every year.

This interruption reduced the strain on electricity demand in France during the winter months and ensures that the collider is always in the best shape.
