The Blu-ray DVDs will sell as early as 2012,Several, TV & Home Cinema, Sony, Dvd, high-definition Blue-ray, DVDs, films, hd dvd

A recent survey shows how the market of HD, that just can concentrate on Blu-ray, view the fall of HD DVD, will almost exponential growth between now and 2012, coming-of that date-even balance.

According to the EMA is the 9 million records in high definition sold last year, so-in total-was spent 260 million dollars. In this respect is to be seen as a small item in the budget of home entertainment, given that overall profits reached 15.9 billion dollars in sales and 8.2 billion dollars in rentals.

Just to play a little ‘with the data, the top DVD seller was Happy Feet, while High School Musical 2 was the best-selling TV show, while the film 300 was one that has reached the top movie in high definition; released films have suffered a slight fall: 2007 were 12177, compared to 13950 in 2005. Returning to focus the debate, is always the EMA to consider the tie DVD / Blu-ray for 2012 as realistic, thanks mainly to the clear choice of a unique standard.

In any case sales of the format of Sony this year should generate well 1 billion dollars less than the nearly 10 that all expect here in four years.

Vista Box Needs Instructions to Open

Thursday, February 14th, 2008 | Announcement, Computer, Design, Gadget Reviews, Gadget Tech Specs, Gadgets, Gadgets news, Gizmo News, Laptops, Mobile, Technology with No Comments »

Oh Microsoft, when will you ever live down the Apple comparisons? It’s not all the mactards’ fault, you know—not when you are pulling stunts like this. Seriously, you have a “How To” page showing customers “how to” open the Vista software packaging—and it’s a 3-step process.

The Windows Vista box opens with a swing-out section that holds your DVD and manuals. The box has two security seals that need to be cut or removed before it can be opened. To open the box 1. On the top of the box, cut along the grooves on either side of the Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity label. 2. Peel the red tabbed label off the front of the box and discard. 3. Holding the box with the Windows logo facing you, grasp the red tab on the top of the box, and pull it to the right to open the box as shown here.

But how do we pull out the disc? There’s gotta be another instructions page. We’re sitting here with a half-finished Vista install opening and Microsoft wouldn’t let us down. [microsoft via wired]

Bra That Doubles As Shopping Bag

   Shopping Bag Bra
This bra is one of the “Strange Japanese Inventions” invented by a well known lingerie manufacturer in Japan. It doubles as a shopping bag named the “Kawaii Bag”. Have a look at its double-edged functionality.
When the bra is being worn, the “shopping bag” portions are folded away inside the bra cups, where they serve as extra padding. The bra quickly converts to a shopping bag by removing the bag portions from the cups and connecting the hooks on the bra’s underwire. The lace cups serve as decoration along with the shoulder straps, which are disconnected and tied to the top of the bag as ribbons.
This wacky invention can prove to be of great use in the much needed time when the ladies can go to the mall, take off their bra, and use it to put stuff in it. To go along with the classy concept, the bra even sports a very elegant name Shopping Bag Bra.
