New firmware updates for goals Olympus

A couple of weeks ago there was talk of joint Olympus, Panasonic and Sigma to update the firmware of its objectives in order to make them compatible with the new standard micro four thirds. Japanese household Olympus has recently announced the release of a new firmware for five objectives Zuiko Digital that ensures compatibility with the newly Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1.

The objectives are to update the 25mm F2.8, 35mm F3.5 Macro, 14-42 F3.5-5.6, 35-100 F2.0 and 40-150 F4.0-5.6. Clicking on the links of the various objectives will be brought directly to the page to download the new firmware.

Sigma has released a firmware update for its reflex SD14. The updates make the following improvements:

Corrects the phenomenon that sometimes the images saved as RAW have an extremely large files, without any reason.
