Netflix is the largest portal of the United States that offers rental and live streaming of movies, TV series and other multimedia content and, at least with regard to the American market, applies fully among the most aggressive competitor to the iTunes Music Store. In recent days, in particular, talks about the launch of Netflix Player Roku, a device that allows streaming directly on the TV at home without any PC and that, according to some, should frighten Apple TV.
Although, according to what is reported by C | News, the low quality of streaming, the absence of HD content in the catalog and a limited number of titles (at least for now) available to users could discourage the use of Netflix Player, we question whether the selling price of $ 99.99 player (against $ 229 repono TV) and how monthly subscription for the use of films to a starting price of $ 8.95 (unlike the pay-per-view chosen from all other portals, including iTunes Music Store) can not act as an incentive to sales.
