“The next move for Apple with the MacBook could be the deployment of 3G connectivity,” said Neil Mawston of Strategy Analytics. Mawston says that is the next logical step for Apple and technology that could be included in the line Pro Air, and later on other notebooks.

The motivation would be to encourage the application, exploiting the possibility that computers can be sold by the telecom carrier in the United States and Europe, customers who already own an iPhone.
