The USB Hollywood Film Kit: Webcamera

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 | USB Devices, camera with No Comments »

Here is hollywood film kit is new gadget that is a webcam. If you don’t go with the beauty of this gadget then this is new gadget will give you high performance. The J.J. Abrams monster movie that was filmed in the style of a handheld movie camera. Contrary to what is depicted in the film, the camera used for shooting that film was a very fancy high-definition camera, not a Best Buy handheld.

This is why the USB Hollywood Film kit is pertinent to my future indie blockbuster. This kit comes with a webcam that looks like a real movie camera, and a separate spotlight for more lighting, which has the Hollywood-style flaps. This is the new camera with new technology that you have never seen before definitely.

One of the biggest issues with many of them is low light performance, meaning that the user needs to be in a brightly lit room to get the best video quality. The USB Hollywood Film Kit is an interesting set that includes an old school movie camera looking webcam and a separate spotlight. The webcam reminds me a lot of the Retro webcam we have talked about before. The camera and spotlight are mounted together on flexible arms, and each requires separate USB ports. The camera is compatible with Windows XP SP2, Vista, plus Mac OS 10.4.8 and up.

Friday, September 5th, 2008 | Gadgets, Laptops with No Comments »

The OLPC seems that continues to coletazos. That small laptop for children in disadvantaged countries (namely, poverty, that andarnos about the bush) now you can buy anyone and with a new feature, will come with dual operating system, Windows XP and Linux.

In May Microsoft reached an agreement with the organization that is responsible for the OLPC to include Windows XP operating system like this lightweight notebook, something that many people did not see well because it was possible to develop a version based on GNU / Linux very intuitive to children.

To try to make happy the whole world the OLPC will be sold at Amazon with the two operating systems, selectable through a boot that you can set to start with one or another. Amazon distribute it in November, coinciding with Christmas shopping.

For now there is a price for this laptop, which we do know is that it will be up for sale under the rule of “buy one, another gift” that forces you to buy two laptops but one of them will go under your direct subsidy to a child in need of truth.

Wind MSI with 160GB hard drive

Thursday, September 4th, 2008 | Gadgets, Laptops with No Comments »

MSI may be launching a new cool version of its MSI Wind U100, the ultraportable that so far he is doing very famous. This ultraportable gadgets you can find in the stores carries a 80GB memory, but it seems that the novelty in this version will change with a new 160GB hard drive.

I think what is most curious that the change of hard disk can be caused “because” of Microsoft, which bind to raise a minimum of 160GB hard drive you want to bring the laptop Windows XP with its license gizmos. This change may cause some to be a wave of new ultraportatiles other brands or at least updates for valid license from Microsoft.

MSI gadgets has a model with a 120GB unit, will disappear? Despite him despite an ultraportable today sold better with Windows XP, but had to be a good thing, forcing them to have more memory.
